Every year the GVCA puts on a number of events for the community:

GVCA Annual General Meeting

When: 3rd or 4th Tuesday in March 

Location: Changes annually

​

Membership Drive

When: Typically kicks off with the AGM and one or two weekends at the end of March/beginning of April.

Location: Door-to-door canvassing takes place mid-April to mid-May. Memberships also can be purchased at Moore's Your Independent Grocer and Guildwood Physiotherapy, online, by mail or call/text GVCA hotline.

 

Annual Spring Guildwood Clean Up Day

When: Usually the 3rd Saturday in April

Location: Corner of Guildwood Parkway and Livingston Rd.

 

The GVCA’s annual clean-up day is a great opportunity to help remove litter from our streets and parks and do something positive for the community and the environment.

Moore's Your Independent Grocer Plant Sale

When: Usually the Thursday after the May long weekend

Location: Moore's Your Independent Grocer, 123 Guildwood Parkway

 

Current GVCA members receive a 10% discount on outdoor plant material.

 

Annual Guildwood Garage Sale Day

When: Last Saturday in May

Location: Throughout Guildwood Village

 

The Annual Guildwood Garage Sale Day is a bargain hunter’s paradise and runs from 9:00am to 2:00pm. GVCA promotes this event via our communication channels and typically puts an ad in the Scarborough Mirror the week prior to promote it to outside the community.

 

Guildwood Day Celebrations

When: First Saturday in June

Locations: Sir Wilfred Laurier Collegiate Institute and Guild Park
