Become a Member

The Guildwood Village Community Association (GVCA) is powered by neighbours who care about where they live. For just $20 per household per year, your membership helps support the work that keeps our community connected, informed and represented.

From organizing popular community events like Guildwood Day to advocating on important local issues, the GVCA works year-round to protect what makes Guildwood special. Membership is one of the most meaningful ways you can support that work.

Your $20 membership directly supports:

  • Community events that bring neighbours together

  • Advocacy and engagement on key neighbourhood issues such as development, planning, traffic and green space

  • Communication efforts that keep residents informed, including our quarterly News & Views publication and monthly e-newsletter

  • Ongoing representation of community interests with the City of Toronto and other stakeholders
     

Simply put, membership helps ensure that local voices are heard and that Guildwood remains a vibrant, livable place to call home.

  • Free admission to most GVCA community events, including the annual Guildwood Day picnic & BBQ

Membership Options

Regular Membership: Open to residents aged 18 and over who live within the Guildwood Village boundaries. Membership is provided on a per-household basis and costs $20 annually.
 

Associate Membership: Available to individuals who live outside Guildwood Village but wish to support and participate in the association. Associate members enjoy the same benefits as regular members, except voting rights at General or Special Meetings, and do not receive home delivery of the News & Views.​​

New to Guildwood?

If you have moved to Guildwood since last March, membership for your first year is free! Please contact treasurer@guildwood.ca for first-time membership information.

How to Join or Renew Your Membership

Becoming a member is easy. There are four ways to join:
 

  1. Online: Purchase or renew online
     

  2. By mail: Send your address and $20 cheque (payable to GVCA) to:

  3. By phone: Call or text 416-410-2755 and leave your address and a good time to connect—membership cards can be delivered to your door
     

  4. In person: Membership cards are available at select local businesses, including:

    • Tammy’s Your Independent Grocer (Guildwood Village Shopping Plaza)

    • Guildwood Physiotherapy (84 Dearham Wood)
